Leader, Packaging Program

Responsibility:

1.Responsible for developing new packaging and improving existing packaging for a variety of products in whole process.

2.Lead or manage multiple projects on packaging details, while participating in cross-functional working groups, supporting key technology development for packaging design, spec, quality & reliability, printing, and assembly.

3.Submit packaging solutions to meet or improve safety, customer satisfaction, costs, quality, and environmental footprint.

4.Route review and approve process within Harman stakeholders to get consolidate recommendations timely for each release.

5.Proactively manage issues and risks in the development process, provide solutions and impact when jobs are at risk and plans contingencies.

6.Continuously improve internal processes, with an eye toward streamlining and eliminating roadblocks.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Engineering, or equivalent.

2.8+ years experience in content program development and packaging development in an international corporate environment. Lifestyle audio packaging experience would be preferred.

3.5+ years project management experience in packaging, print and / or digital.

4.Possess an understanding of the production process relating to creative, print and other marketing tactics in order to effectively manage resources, time and budgets; additional experience with digital media production would be ideal.

5.Knowledge and experience with packaging structure practices, including printing and post-processes such as finishing, die-cutting, handwork, assembly.

6.Excellent communication skills (both in English & Chinese, written & verbal). Business proficiency in English, including technical documentation using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and apply problem solving skills.
