     PP树脂大多为乳白色粒状物，无味、无臭、无毒，密度低、透明性好，密度为0.89～0.91g/cm3是常用树脂中最轻的一种。PP与HDPE相比，不但具有较高的拉伸强度、刚度、硬度、耐应力开裂性和耐热性，而且具有突出的延伸性和抗弯曲疲劳性，成型加工性能极为优良。聚丙烯是一种性能优良的热塑性合成树脂，主要有均聚、共聚和抗冲三类产品，广泛应用于注塑件、管材、薄膜、纤维等，主要的生产工艺有液相本体法、液相本体+气相法组合工艺和气相法工艺等三大类。广泛应用于服装、毛毯等纤维制品、医疗器械、汽车、自行车、零件、输送管道、化工容器等生产，也用于食品、药品包装。常用的填料如碳酸钙、滑石粉和玻璃纤维来填充和增强PP。如聚丙烯网管、聚丙烯抗裂防渗纤维、聚丙烯板材、聚丙烯水箱。
