EHS Manager

Requirement from Tertiary education (Certificate Diploma or Bachelor) in safety, environment. or related technical or physical sciences discipline.      Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in sustainability/EHS position.Sound workinknowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) and Environment legislation related to manufacturing mining, national and relevant international regulations for materials, chemicals, minerals and other product related laws/regulations/requirements. Aptitude for hands on, field (practical) work in non-metallic mineral processing and open pit quarries and underground mine for a similar, business/industry ( 7+ years)  Strong track record in the implementation and auditing of integrated management systems ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001 (certified training by an approved training organization) Preferably - Solid field experience in non-metallic mineral processing and open pit quarries and underground mine for a similar,business/industry (5+ years)Preferably - Sound working knowledge of OHS and Environment legislation related to manufacturing and Mining in China  Ability or experience to train and motivate operations team·        Analytical,report writing, pro-active problem solver

 Effective organizational and planning skills Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to lead EHS development, improvement of sites within country/area.Team player, excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of different cultures / work environments   Competent with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Capable in English and Local language in both written and oral Availability to be on site at plant and mine sites in the area on a regular basis, minimum 50% of the time.
